E-WAY BILL
Use of Place: Factory to port movement
Definition: A transport permission document required for moving goods based on distance, ensuring legal movement from origin to port.
4.
EXPORT INVOICE
Use of Place: Customs port (clearance stage)
Definition: An invoice prepared specifically for customs clearance, used to declare export goods and to claim benefits like EPCG, Advance Authorization, RoDTEP, and Drawback.
5.
COMMERCIAL INVOICE
Use of Place: After ship on board to destination country
Definition: The final invoice issued to the buyer containing complete details such as quantity, value with currency, weight, HSN, and buyer/consignee details, mainly focused on value.

PACKING LIST
Use of Place: After ship on board
Definition: A document that provides complete packing details including quantity, weight, and number of packages, mainly focused on goods.

PACKING ANNEXURE

Definition: While the packing list shows what items are inside each box, the annexure defines detailed information such as serial numbers and weight of each item inside every box.

SDF DECLARATION

Definition: A declaration (oath certificate) given by the exporter confirming the correctness of goods, value, and payment details.
9.
SCOMET DECLARATION
Use of Place: Exporter customs location
Definition: A declaration confirming that the goods do not fall under restricted or sensitive categories.
10.
END USE DECLARATION
Use of Place: Exporter customs location
Definition: A declaration (mainly by the buyer) confirming that the goods will not be used for illegal or unauthorized activities.
11.
SELF-SEALING ANNEXURE (Factory Stuffing Certificate)
Use of Place: Factory stuffing / customs stage
Definition: A certificate stating that the container has been sealed at the factory after stuffing the goods.
12.
CHECKLIST
Use of Place: Shipper & CHA before Shipping Bill
Definition: A draft document used to verify all details before filing the Shipping Bill.
13.
SELF SEAL / CUSTOM SEAL
Use of Place: Factory to consignee destination
Definition: A seal applied on the container as valid proof that goods remain safe and untampered throughout the journey.
14.
SHIPPING BILL
Use of Place: Customs port
Definition: The main government-approved export document based on the checklist, containing details like nature of goods, quantity, value, and export benefits, giving final clearance for export.
15.
GATE PASS
Use of Place: Customs port to shipping yard
Definition: An entry permission document that allows the container to move from the customs port to the shipping yard for loading onto the vessel.
